OUR CHIROPRACTORS
Ian and Richard both graduated from the AECC University College in 1992 so they have a wealth of knowledge treating all manner of aches and pains.
Ian graduated top of his degree class in 1992 and won 2 prizes, ‘Best Academic Student’ and ‘Best Clinician’.
Richard enjoys keeping fit especially weight training and playing golf.

OUR TREATMENT SERVICES
Many people think that Chiropractors just ‘crack’ backs and that their only method of treatment is manipulation. In fact, Chiropractors are experts in the treatment of all manner of aches and pains all over the body and have a variety of treatment methods to utilise dependent on your condition, age and need.
We are an EIP – Evidence Informed Practice. This means we use our training, combined 50+ years of clinical practice and integrate this with new treatment methods as proven by research. This means that your treatment may have a much broader approach than you though and may consist of:
MANUAL THERAPY
Hands on manipulation (firm, fast, specific movements) and/or mobilisation (less firm, slower movements to stretch you) may be used to treat you. Taking into consideration many factors such as your pain levels, age and personal preference.
REHABILITATION ADVICE
You may need stretching or strengthening of your muscles to aid recovery. This may vary from a simple demonstration in the treatment room, to progressive rehabilitation using our ‘App’. Your specific videos can be updated changed and altered as needed by us.
SELF HELP ADVICE
We talk about do’s & don’ts so you can avoid aggravating your pains e.g. ‘Is it OK to carry on as normal?’ Should you exercise or better to rest?’ ‘What positions can reduce your pain and symptoms?’ ‘Are hot or cold packs better?’
CHIROPRACTIC ERGONOMIC ADVICE
Working, sitting, driving postures and sleeping position as well as other lifestyle triggers can have a significant effect on your pains and how quickly you respond to treatment. By offering Chiropractic ergonomic advice to help you make small changes, we can often help you see big differences in your pain
SUPPLEMENT ADVICE
Many people take supplements for joint and muscular pain. We can help advise whether evidence supports your choice. We don’t stock or sell any supplements nor do we direct you to any specific supplement suppliers, so you can be confident that any advice we offer is impartial and without financial gain.
